The plain-English rules for using WHISPERLOOK.

Last updated: September 6, 2026

What WHISPERLOOK is

WHISPERLOOK is a viewer for publicly available Instagram content. You enter a public username and WHISPERLOOK shows that account’s public stories, highlights, posts, reels and profile photo. The content comes from a content provider, an independent service that fetches publicly available material. WHISPERLOOK does not require an account and never asks for your Instagram login.

By using WHISPERLOOK you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Acceptable use

WHISPERLOOK is for personal use: looking at public content the way you could in any browser, with less clutter. When you use it, you agree that you will not:

  • Access WHISPERLOOK with bots, scrapers, scripts or any automated method, or try to get around its rate limits.
  • Try to reach content that is not public, including private accounts, or use WHISPERLOOK to get around anyone’s privacy settings.
  • Use anything you see on WHISPERLOOK to harass, threaten, intimidate or track anyone.
  • Interfere with the service, probe it for weaknesses, or overload it.
  • Resell WHISPERLOOK, frame it, or present it as your own.

The content you view belongs to the people who posted it and is subject to Instagram’s terms. Those terms continue to apply to how you use that content. WHISPERLOOK does not change them.

Not affiliated with Instagram

WHISPERLOOK is an independent service. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Instagram or Meta. Instagram and related names are trademarks of their owners and are used only to describe what the service works with.

Availability

We run WHISPERLOOK on a best-effort basis. It depends on a content provider and on what Instagram makes publicly available, both of which can change without notice. Features may be unavailable at times, results may be a few minutes old, and the service may change or pause. The status page shows what is working right now. We do not promise that any particular content will be available.

Content and ownership

Everything you see through WHISPERLOOK belongs to the people who created and posted it, or to whoever they have licensed it to. WHISPERLOOK claims no ownership of any of it and grants you no rights in it. If you want to use someone’s content, ask them.

If you believe content shown through WHISPERLOOK infringes your rights, the copyright page explains how to tell us.

Disclaimer

WHISPERLOOK is provided as is and as available. We do our best to keep it accurate and working, but we make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including about availability, accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. Content comes from public sources as it is. We do not review or endorse it.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, WHISPERLOOK and the people who run it are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of the service or from any content viewed through it. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid to use WHISPERLOOK, which is nothing, because WHISPERLOOK is free.

Termination

We may block or limit access to WHISPERLOOK for anyone who breaks these terms, abuses the service or creates risk for others, without notice. You can stop using WHISPERLOOK at any time. There is no account to close.

Changes

We may update these terms as the service changes. The date at the top shows when. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.
